The Portal started in 2010 as a non denominational spirit filled home church in the basement of John and Sheila’s house.
The little church fellowship began with just a few close family members and Teen Challenge students. As the number of attendees grew, it became more difficult to fit everyone into the basement. In addition, there were challenges trying to accommodate the children and babies, not to mention those with difficulty climbing stairs. It was clear that more space was needed!
After holding church services at several other locations including the Teen Challenge campus and a voting precinct, God opened the door for them to find a new home! In December 2019, the Portal Church Fellowship moved into the rock church building on 301 Wilder Rd Chickamauga Georgia!
